OK, today. Lets see. Trying not to be late after waking up at 12pm, rushed to boots and shoes to meet Farid, Pei Ting and Ling Mei to complete the last leg of the event in Christ Church Sec, which is the indoor segment. Once there, kena brief abt the indoor segment. Then we're sent to the respective starting stations to commence the event. 

There were 6 stations. Do You Know Your ABCs?, Amazing Maze, The Price Is Right are some. So we went to every single one, doing our best and putting in awesome effort. In the end, we got acknowledged as the best team for the Amazing Maze station, which is quite uplifting. HAHHA.

Soon after, we headed back to the meeting point, waiting for the results of the Top5 teams. Hoe lucky we are to be in the Top 5, being in 3rd place. We were selected and brought to compete in the final round, consisting of three parts. Although we made a couple of mistakes here and there, we emerged as CHAMPIONS. YES. Well, best part is, we won 500bucks. COLD HARD MUTHA CASH. For the team. Got my share of 125bucks. Everyone was so damn happy, coz its cash + we beat others from JC and what not. Proved our might k.

So, had awesome buffet dinner after the whole prize presentation and event in the canteen and left for cwp. Walked around abit and then left for home.

Time truly has passed.

On occasion, i stumble onto this space when clearing out my email.  Been about 6 years since the last update. Nothing really has changed to be honest. Future me, please be happy. Past me was pretty happy. Current me kinda feels like theres some work to be done before I can be happy... but we'll get there. New breed of robots. Anicons. I got my picture taken with a pink hat. Joy. CIP. Community Involvement Programme. Saturday. Early Morning. What do they have in common? Nothing. OK, that was lame. CIP was fun. Had a great experience even though we did'nt get as much newspaper as others. I was with Felicia, Wei Yong and Jia ling. The blocks there were very weird. Like some got half-naked people in it teaching their son how to read and one was watching televison. Weird. We ended a bit late but that is OK. After that, went to KFC at 888 plaza to eat. I ended up borrowing money from Mervin. Damn him. Got myself a Zinger student meal. Funny thing the Zinger. Quite hard to chew the meat. After that we went to Causeway Point with Natalie, Melissa, Jia Ling, Yi hui and Mervin. Too bad we reach there a bit late thanks to Hui Ming's cheese fries. Best thng happened at Causeway Point. How's life, mate?

Taking some time today to write something here. It's really been a while. A lot has went past these few months. Firstly, I'm finally a sergeant. Graduated from SCS last December. Got posted to 6SIR and currently holding the appointment of GPMG Commander. Life in an active battalion wasnt what I'd hoped for but I'm not really that lucky anyways. Been to Brunei, finished Rotation 3 and now waiting for them Stand-by Duty. I really pray nothing goes wrong during that 5 weeks on stand-by. Still coming, CSB and Taiwan.. again! Secondly, visited NUS Open Day yesterday. Thought I'd pop by to get a glimpse of my future and decided to check out them Hall Booths. Told myself  I should stay in hall for some cool university-only experience. But it's kinda pricey, on top of an already pricey university education. Where to get the money, man? Well.. there's that.
